I hear people say that there is no such thing as a coincidence and that everything that happens has some sort of reasoning or purpose behind it....
I saw this quote the other day "Blessed are those that can give without remembering and receive without forgetting" and it has been on my mind ever since. I'm often overwhelmed at how blessed and lucky I am to have all that I have. It just amazes me how much I truly have to be thankful for. This morning I was reading blogs and this is what I found on my new friend Christi's blog...http://www.greyumbrella.com/2009/11/project-serve.html Coincidence??
I think this is such a simple yet HUGE way to do something for someone else this holiday season. I WILL SERVE...will you?? :)

Today, I was remembering that Like attracts like. I, too, have been contemplating service, volunteering or giving back to the community during the holidays. I keep trying to convince my sisters that we should gift each other by giving gifts to people that need it or donating to organizations.
