Well, the training has officially started!! This is week 3 of marathon training and so far, so good. I'm looking forward to our first long run over 13 miles since that is the longest distance any of us have ever gone. I am loving every minute of the training so far...even though the thought of running for 5 hours makes my stomach turn. 5 hours is my estimated finish time. We shall see! Anyway, I love thinking about how this time last summer I was 40 pounds heavier and couldn't run 1/2 a mile. This past year of running has been incredible. My running buddies from near and far have given me encouragement and inspiration to keep on going! Training for a marathon is not something I would've EVER done if it hadn't been for these guys!! Here is a look back at the past year of running!
