This one was a rough one! Today's race was the Toys 4 Tots race at Mae Simmons Park and it was 4 miles. For those of you who ran cross country there in high school, you know about the "killer hill" on this course. We had to run it twice!! It is really more like a mountain than a hill! :) Definitely a good cause but not exactly a fun race! BJ, who I don't think ever gets tired, finished in 38 minutes. Jana finished in 41 mins and I finished in 42 mins. Oh, and here's a shout out to my father-in-law who I know was cheering us on from his recliner! Hi John!! :)

Way to go Kori! I have a 10K tomorrow. Since I can't handle the marathon I'm doing the 10K on the marathon course. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I'm not 100% committed yet. I am fighting a cold and then have to fly to Texas on Monday. So I'm not sure what to do! Good for you though! You are doing awesome!
Yuck is all I can say! I will never run mae simmons again...too many bad memories and twisted ankles...you did awesome!
